Hello, All!
Кто-нибудь может подробнее откомментировать и дать ссылки? Я пытался найти нормальное описание событий в iNet, но более или менее сходу не получилось (хотя упоманий довольно много)

Saddam Hussein may not have been the first to resort to chemical weapons in Iraq. Poison gas is said by historians to have been used by British troops to quell a 1920 tribal uprising in the northern Kurdish town of Kirkuk. "I do not understand this squeamishness about the use of gas. I am strongly in favour of using poison gas against uncivilised tribes," Winston Churchill, the former British prime minister, is said to have remarked about agents that he believed would cause illness but not death.
